We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to play a key role in managing HR administration, labor relations, internal HR processes, and ensuring full compliance with Bulgarian and EU legislation. The role is strongly focused on HR Operations, documentation, policies, payroll coordination and support, occupational health and safety, and data protection.

Responsibilities
· End-to-end HR administration across the employee lifecycle – hiring, changes, and termination of employment relationships
· Preparation and administration of employment contracts, supplementary agreements to the employment contracts, civil contracts, job descriptions, HR orders and related to HR internal documentation
· Administration of registration and compliance with deadlines towards the National Revenue Agency (NRA) and maintenance of employee personnel files
· Issuing, updating, and closing employment record books in accordance with Bulgarian labor legislation
· Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
· Preparing and maintaining payroll-related data and coordinating with payroll specialist and external service provider· Administration of annual leave, sick leave, and other absences
· Administration of company benefit policy
· Preparation of HR reports and participation in salary benchmarking and market surveys
· Drafting, updating, and maintaining internal HR policies, rules, and procedures
· Participation in internal and external HR audits and inspections by authorities
· Coordination of activities related to Health and Safety. Maintaining the necessary documentation, briefings and risk assessments.
· Ensuring compliance with GDPR and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act. Supporting investigations related to data protection incidents and signals. Monitoring changes in Bulgarian and EU data protection legislation.
· Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process when required
· Supporting training initiatives, performance management process, and internal HR programs, HR projects and events
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or HR Generalist roles
· Solid knowledge of Bulgarian Labor Code, social security legislation, and related regulations
· Hands-on experience with health and safety services and GDPR
· Experience in drafting internal policies and HR documentation
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· High level of accuracy, organization, planning and time management, presentation skills
· Persistent mindset, proactive and positive approach
· Hands-on mentality and team player
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
· Proficiency in HR various systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
