Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities

·        Identify significant challenges with a business's software or systems

·       Develop functional requirements

·        Design solutions and writing up technical requirements

·        Support complex CRM or similar B2B systems

·        Test and implement technology solutions

·        Configure/extend the system to best fulfill the technical specifications

·        Identify significant challenges with a business's software or systems

·        Assis in formulating and designing business objectives and scope for system implementations.

·        Conduct root cause analysis in support of process improvements

·        Work closely with the internal development team on the development and implementation of new customer requirements as part of their ongoing support contracts as well as on developing our own software products

·        Evaluate and analyze the requirements, validate with the technical teams and developers and return a proposal for implementation and agree on the timelines

·        Perform tests on functionalities and troubleshoot bugs and issues

·        Create and execute test scenarios to make sure that the implemented functionalities work as expected and meet the customer‘s requirements

·        Assist the developers in understanding the customers’ requirements. Act as a business-to-technical translator between departments

·        Ensure technical compatibility of existing and proposed software and hardware solutions

Requirements

·        Technical knowledge is a must – SQL, Web services, ideally cloud-based experience

·        Experience with common data formats such as JSON, XML, etc.

·        Ideally experience in supporting complex CRM or similar B2B systems (for example Trading, Risk Management, Portfolio Management, etc.)

·        Experience with XML, JSON transformation languages is considered an advantage - e.g. XSLT, JOLT

·        Knowledge of the ETRM processes or Energy Systems is considered an advantage

·        Great communicator and being able to manage expectations for the stakeholders on the project

·        Attention to detail; keen on digging into the problems and understanding what is needed to find a solution

·        Organized and responsible person, who can manage multiple topics at the same time, with different clients

·        Affinity to finance and financial instruments is considered an advantage

·        Keen on improving knowledge and become an expert in her field

·        Being able to stay calm under pressure

Desired Skills and Experience

·        A university degree in Finance, Mathematics or similar is considered an advantage

·        Proficient level of English required. German is considered an advantage

·        Previous relevant working experience preferably in the IT and/or Energy sector

·        Technical affinity and experience with SQL, Web services
