Currently, we are looking for a Business Analyst Generalist to join our company.
Responsibilities
• Be the single point of contact for our clients with whom we have on-going business contracts, understand their business needs and functionality requirements. (Product Owner)
• Make an architectural design decision of how to implement the client’s requirements
• Create business, functional and technical specification documents and customer workflow documents
• Assist the developers in understanding the customers’ requirements. Act as a business to technical translator between departments
• Configure/extend the system to best fulfill the technical specifications
• Evaluate and analyze the requirements, validate with the technical teams and developers and return a proposal for implementation and agree on the timelines • Work closely with the internal development team on the development and implementation of new customer requirements as part of their on-going support contracts as well as on developing our own software products
• Create and execute test scenarios to make sure that the implemented functionalities work as expected and meet the customer requirements
• Design solutions and writing up technical requirements • Support complex CRM or similar B2B systems
• Test and implement technology solutions
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a major in finance, computer science, data science, management, engineering or related field
• Conceptual knowledge of SOA
• Comfortable working with database queries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with work management tools (JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.)
• Experience in writing functional and business specifications
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset and approach • Ability to focus on prioritized work and adhere to deadlines
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Positive tram player attitude and very good communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
Considered an advantage
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Experience in the financial or energy industry
• Experience with diagramming tools – Lucid, Visio, Draw.io, Cawemo etc.
• Knowledge of different project management methodologies – Waterfall, Agile, Lean etc.
• Experience in management of a project backlog
• Work experience with ETRM solutions
• Work experience with BPM solutions
• Knowledge of or experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Experience with system and services integrations: Work with APIs, Data Mapping, Transformations and Derivations
• Technical knowledge or experience - coding, scripting, complex database queries etc.
• Good spoken German
